As winter makes its exit and spring steps in, the sense of renewal immediately sets a newfound motivation in people. It’s either simplifying work habits, schedules or making small intentional improvements to daily life.

While resets usually focus on wardrobes or homes, refreshing personal care also stands as a thoughtful upgrade.

Technology is subtly reshaping everyday routines with advanced hairstyling as well as oral-care tools. It is definitely smarter, faster and also easy to use in a short amount of time with excellent outcomes.

Laifen is one such personal care tech brand that has completely embraced the idea of seasonal changes in its spring self-renewal lineup. In the upcoming Spring Sale, dated March 21st to March 31st 2026, two of its high-speed hair dryers, SE 2 Hair Dryer, White and SE Lite Hair Dryer, Glossy Tan is under the spotlights. Beyond the two highlights comes the newly launched oral care device, the Wave Pro Electric Toothbrush.

Behind the Brand

Laifen, founded in the year 2019, began its journey with a focus on personal care with engineered innovation. Setting a new benchmark for the traditional system of the industry, it revolutionized the daily grooming tools, precisely the hair dryers.

What sets it apart?

The conventional hair dryers often take a longer time to dry, not to forget, it heavily relies on heat for fast drying; ultimately making the hair prone to heat damage.

This is what Laifen looked to solve by introducing its exclusive high-speed brushless motors for powerful airflow in designing hair dryers, resulting in faster drying while maintaining a controlled temperature.

Following the philosophy of engineering-first, the brand indeed received massive traction quickly. Leading to a million households using Laifen products across the globe and paving the way to expansion with its technology as it adds more products to personal-care routines that feel more intentional, comfortable and are easy to use.

SE 2 Hair Dryer (White) for a premium, fast styling

The brand’s Spring Sale lineup, SE 2 Hair Dryer, sits as the high-performing product that is precisely made to portray the professional-level efficiency and speed in daily styling routines. This product reaches up to 108,000 RPM, given Laifen’s very own advanced motor technology, as it produces airflow of about 21.5 meters per second, enabling significantly faster hair drying than traditional ones, which gives a healthier-looking hair.

Within the model, Laifen also focused on adding a thoughtful feature called the Child Mode. This mode actively lowers the temperature to 58°C when in low airflow and to 48°C during high airflow, making it utterly suitable for use on delicate hair and sensitive scalps.

Featuring a precision dynamic balance to 0.001mm, SE 2 Hair Dryer gives continuous performance with stable temperature and airflow and maintains motor functionality. Additionally, the smart temperature control system keeps checking the air temperature about 80 times per second and automatically adjusts the heat levels for hair protection without overheating. Styling is further elevated by the 200 million negative-ion generator, which reduces hair frizz and boosts shine.

Moreover, it has got 10 customizable settings, different attachments for styling like smooth nozzle, diffuser nozzle and concentrator nozzle all within a quiet 59 dB noise level. During this Spring sale, this dryer will be on discount up to 25%, an unmissable opportunity for premium styling all by yourself. Also, available on Amazon with up to 5% extra discount with the use of the CODE:  OKURZRDF.

SE Lite Hair Dryer (Glossy Tan) for Everyday Convenience

This model focuses on bringing its users maximum accessibility along with its portable, lightweight design. Made for the everyday carry with elegance, the SE Lite Hair dryer (Glossy Tan) roughly weighs 345 grams, equal to a cup of tea.

Convenient for smooth travel or the gym for young professionals or women, it is very comfortable for longer styling. But lightweight does not mean it falls short on delivery; it gives extremely impressive performance with the signature brushless motor spins of about 100,000 RPM. That’s not all, it also has a strong air flow of 19 meters per second that gives fast drying with continuous control of temperature.

Similar to the SE 2 design, the SE Lite hair dryer also consists negative ion generator that can effortlessly release up to 150 million ions, helping in smoothening frizz or static for shinier hair.

Following a smart monitoring of temperature, it makes sure that the airflow does not end up overheating on the hair strands, while it also consists of a quiet drying system with just 62 dB to run on hush surroundings.

The Glossy Tan color series is designed with the intention of adding a lifestyle-centric aesthetic to the product, which reflects the current beauty trend within modern lifestyles. Branching into Oral Care with Wave Pro Toothbrush

Though hair care stands as the core focus for Laifen as its starting point, with the hair dryers as the hero products for the spring sale, the brand has steadily taken the steps to expand towards the production of oral care tools among its other daily personal care routines.

One such latest engineered innovation by Laifen is the Wave Pro Electric Toothbrush.

Combining a whole 60-degree oscillation with the 66,000 vibrations per minute, it forms a brushing motion that is highly recommended by dentists, consisting of the Modified Bass technique for effective plaque removal.

The Wave Pro, as its core design consists multi-functional bristle combined with a soft TPE rubber layer, enabling the toothbrush to clean through the tight spaces, maintaining a gentle touch to the gums.

It includes a pressure sensor as part of its smart technology, which actively alerts its users when the brushing pressure is too forceful. In addition to this, it has dual cleaning modes with adjustable intensity levels. With battery life lasting up to 70 days, it has a wireless charging feature, designed for seamless travel and everyday use, making it a significant part of Laifen’s ambition in tapping into the modern personal-care tech.

How upgrades in small routines can bring big changes

What appeals as the spring upgrade is its ability for simplicity. There’s no need for big, dramatic changes to bring spring refreshments into the lifestyle; it is the small improvements made to daily routines that make the biggest impacts.

Beauty-enhancing tools like the SE Lite and SE 2 hair dryers and Wave Pro toothbrushes efficiently shape everyday life. The technology integrated into beauty in bringing faster drying can easily free up your valuable time while you get ready for work or glam-up to go out, meanwhile, the smart toothbrush can make oral care much more consistent as well as effective.

Routines become smoother with this modern technology, making meaningful improvements to lifestyle. It is what Laifen aims to make mornings feel less hassled, with people not feeling it like an exhausting chore, and all with more affordability. So, without further delay, get that refreshed renewal to your lifestyle during this 2026 Spring Sale.

Google Maps has a long list of hidden (and sometimes, just underrated) features that help you navigate seamlessly. But I was not a big fan of using Google Maps for walking: that is, until I started using the right set of features that helped me navigate better.

Add layers to your map

See more information on the screen

Layers are an incredibly useful yet underrated feature that can be utilized for all modes of transport. These help add more details to your map beyond the default view, so you can plan your journey better.

To use layers, open your Google Maps app (Android, iPhone). Tap the layer icon on the upper right side (under your profile picture and nearby attractions options). You can switch your map type from default to satellite or terrain, and overlay your map with details, such as traffic, transit, biking, street view (perfect for walking), and 3D (Android)/raised buildings (iPhone) (for buildings). To turn off map details, go back to Layers and tap again on the details you want to disable.

In particular, adding a street view and 3D/raised buildings layer can help you gauge the terrain and get more information about the landscape, so you can avoid tricky paths and discover shortcuts.

Set up Live View

Just hold up your phone

A feature that can help you set out on walks with good navigation is Google Maps’ Live View. This lets you use augmented reality (AR) technology to see real-time navigation: beyond the directions you see on your map, you are able to see directions in your live view through your camera, overlaying instructions with your real view. This feature is very useful for travel and new areas, since it gives you navigational insights for walking that go beyond a 2D map.

To use Live View, search for a location on Google Maps, then tap “Directions.” Once the route appears, tap “Walk,” then tap “Live View” in the navigation options. You will be prompted to point your camera at things like buildings, stores, and signs around you, so Google Maps can analyze your surroundings and give you accurate directions.

Download maps offline

Google Maps without an internet connection

Whether you’re on a hiking trip in a low-connectivity area or want offline maps for your favorite walking destinations, having specific map routes downloaded can be a great help. Google Maps lets you download maps to your device while you’re connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data, and use them when your device is offline.

For Android, open Google Maps and search for a specific place or location. In the placesheet, swipe right, then tap More > Download offline map > Download. For iPhone, search for a location on Google Maps, then, at the bottom of your screen, tap the name or address of the place. Tap More > Download offline map > Download.

After you download an area, use Google Maps as you normally would. If you go offline, your offline maps will guide you to your destination as long as the entire route is within the offline map.

Enable Detailed Voice Guidance

Get better instructions

Voice guidance is a basic yet powerful navigation tool that can come in handy during walks in unfamiliar locations and can be used to ensure your journey is on the right path. To ensure guidance audio is enabled, go to your Google Maps profile (upper right corner), then tap Settings > Navigation > Sound and Voice. Here, tap “Unmute” on “Guidance Audio.”

Apart from this, you can also use Google Assistant to help you along your journey, asking questions about your destination, nearby sights, detours, additional stops, etc. To use this feature on iPhone, map a walking route to a destination, then tap the mic icon in the upper-right corner. For Android, you can also say “Hey Google” after mapping your destination to activate the assistant.

Voice guidance is handy for both new and old places, like when you’re running errands and need to navigate hands-free.

Add multiple stops

Keep your trip going

If you walk regularly to run errands, Google Maps has a simple yet effective feature that can help you plan your route in a better way. With Maps’ multiple stop feature, you can add several stops between your current and final destination to minimize any wasted time and unnecessary detours.

To add multiple stops on Google Maps, search for a destination, then tap “Directions.” Select the walking option, then click the three dots on top (next to “Your Location”), and tap “Edit Stops.” You can now add a stop by searching for it and tapping “Add Stop,” and swap the stops at your convenience. Repeat this process by tapping “Add Stops” until your route is complete, then tap “Start” to begin your journey.

You can add up to ten stops in a single route on both mobile and desktop, and use the journey for multiple modes (walking, driving, and cycling) except public transport and flights. I find this Google Maps feature to be an essential tool for travel to walkable cities, especially when I’m planning a route I am unfamiliar with.

More to discover

A new feature to keep an eye out for, especially if you use Google Maps for walking and cycling, is Google’s Gemini boost, which will allow you to navigate hands-free and get real-time information about your journey. This feature has been rolling out for both Android and iOS users.
